Family entertainment
This patio in (Add Place Name), was empty except for a centrally located hot tub. But there was plenty of potential for a family of four to enjoy it comfortably and stylishly, which is why designer of RDKHardscaping chose it. Designer extended the patio deeper into the backyard and then added an outdoor pavilion with a kitchen, bar and TV. He also created an outdoor dining and seating area as well as an intimate fire pit seating area. All this is captured in a vivid black-and- white palette softened by patches of grass and rustling grass.
Now they are cooking
Edible plants, an outdoor kitchen and a greenhouse for growing vegetables were exactly what this couple from Buffalo NY USA, wanted for their yard. Landscaping expert included a freestanding grill, pizza oven and rotisserie station in the new brick kitchen. Raised beds contain both edible and ornamental plants.
Owners can enjoy views of the newly built yard-wide pond and pretty, functional greenhouse from a bench beneath the lacy arbor.
Stay connected
One of three patios in this buffalo NY USA home on a corner lot, this lounge area has a fireplace and is shaded by a steel and wood pergola where the two wings of the home meet. Creating connection and cohesion was a priority, so architects team used complementary colors and materials throughout, including sandstone and cottonwood limestone.
In the back of the photo, you can see one of the other patios, the fire pit lounge next to the primary bedroom. The dining terrace is not visible but is very close to the central terrace.
Treehouse in Buffalo NY USA
The screen keeps bugs out, but it also opens up spectacular views from this 350-square-foot Buffalo NY USA porch designed and built over a new garage as part of an addition. The flooring is waterproof porcelain wood tiles that extend to the new dining deck. On hot days, fans provide breeze and there are plenty of cushioned seats around small tables to encourage guests to stay a while.
Overflowing with grace
Designer included a pergola-covered dining area, a fountain, a fire pit lounge deck and several nooks for wildlife viewing. And she did it in a casual, elegant style that suits the Buffalo NY USA area beautifully. The design features undulating troughs and other plants to create interest all year round, along with spherical sculptures and geometric pathways that add an artistic flair.
